Can you put a 3s-FE in a 1989 GTS?

I posted earlier that I was looking at buying a 89 GTS with a blown engine. Can you put a 3S-FE into a 89 GTS without too many mods? - sensors, motor mounts, computer, exhaust .....?

yea, as long as you have all the parts you mentioned, it will work...question is why would you? 3SFE is much weaker. really not worth the trouble to swap a slower engine into a car. expecially in a car that old.

do you have a free 3SFE with all the componets, wiring, sensors, computer attached? cause if not, its not worth the trouble.

better be sure you have access to the car the 3sfe came from because you are going to need everything that touches the head from it
