Only do a 3SGE if you're prepared to do the whole swap and wiring deal. If you can't do it yourself... or don't know anyone with Toyota wiring experience to help you out, I wouldn't reccomend trying to do a Toyota engine swap until you've gained enough experience and have done enough research on Toyota wiring. Toyota wiring is a whole nother beast from other makes... so do your research if that's what you want.

Aside from that, I'd just do a replacement. Usually "remanufactured" or "rebuilt" motors are costly... as much as the car's worth sometimes. Most people just go with used low-mileage replacements, which can be found much cheaper. Used 5SFE's usually run around 500-1000 dollars depending on the place you're buying from and what year/mileage the engine is. There are several different versions, but they should all directly swap with the proper revision manifolds. Good luck hmong brotha....

a reman motor probably will not be complete with manifolds and all, so you are far better off getting the same type of motor you are replacing and dont return the old core motor until you get the new one running
