Question 4afe Tuning

ok so i am going to rebuild my 4afe motor this summer. i recently got a job at a machine/engine building shop and i can do it for cheap. after i rebuild this motor i was thinking of doing some basic things..... new clutch, struts and springs, exhaust , and ecu mods..... i was wondering if anyone knew if there is a chip for the 4afe ecu. or is there somewhere i can send it to get it reprogramed for more power???

i also have been considering cams and high compression pistons.

any imput helps thanks everyone

Since you have the engine apart, port and polish it. Piston and cams will be custom made. You'll need a stand alone unless you can find a local shop which do TechTom but it'll worth as much or more then a stand alone.
Like fredk said you'll better with a 4A-GE on $/HP but I'm a FE builder also I had same dream with my Corolla's 4A-FE. Now I'm working on my Celica's 5S-FE. Just wanna know how much they can push NA.
