hey all,

lately...my car has been idling around 400 every now and then, after a while it will return to the normal 900 idle...and then piss me off moreso by dropping back to 4. I dont know much about cars, and i want to know if theres anything i can do to fix the prob myself, or do i have to take it into a mechanic.
remember, i dont know much...so if you have a suggestion on how to fix, please go into detail or i'll still be in the dark

get some brake clean and take the intake tube off the throttle body and clean all around the edges of the butterfly, let it dry out and reassemble
