7th gen gts auto 1/4 mile

i know a 6 speeed can run 14s but a friend of mine who drives a 6 speed said auto gts's run 17s are they really that slow? what do they run? thanks

The automatic gts is tiptronic so it can be used like a standard transmission, it shouldn't be running 17's, low 15s probably

They do only run 17's... The 4 speed auto tranny is very poorly geared to utilize lift... hence the very poor 1/4 mile times for the GTS Auto.
