Exclamation 205/40 or 205/45 Ecsta Supra 712's

Recently purchased a 1995 ST wearing 17" rims shod with (shoddy/nasty/worn) Nanang Sport NS-1's. The tires have to go. My 1995 Impala SS wears Kumho Ecsta Supr 712's ( as does my 01 Acur CL ) - bang for buck I LOVE this tire -

My question is since the little Celica is already wearing 205/40's I expect they work in 17" - anyone KNOW from experiance will a taller 45 work? I am afraid it will rub as the shocks work through their travel, but anyone know for certain?
