4th Generation a little help

Hello, I just found this site and had to join. I just got a 86 celica gt "with a digi dash"
5 speed, well it has a 2f-e in it but it has a cracked head but i also have a 89 celica st 5 speed with a 3s-fe in it. I was wondering if the 3s would be a direct bolt on to my gt. would motor mounts and tanny all match up to the bolts????? dont want to do alot of work with an engine swap right now. "until i get JDM" thanks for any help. oh yea i but the GT for $50..is that a good price LOL

A 2F-E? Never heard of an F engine before... I think you mean 2S-E. In that case yeah, the newer engine should bolt in as long as it's an S series, but you'll have to deal with wiring and so on.
