i dont think they are gonna stop making them they just arnt importing them to america anymore i think. and it might be because the sales were starting to drop for them. im not 100% sure. im a little upset to because iv always wanted one and i guess il just have to get a used one but meh still good.

They are still making them just not selling them over here. Along with the MR2. It was because sales were really bad the past couple of years for both and with the introduction of the Scion line they felt the sporty cars would be on the Scion side. I do have dreams of the Celica comming back in a retro look and being RWD again. Basically them doing what GM is going to do with the camaro and the firebird when they eventually bring them back.

if you wanna get a toyota performance car here in canada you have to go with scion, witch is still toyota.A toyota consultant tech operator told me so.Must be the same explaination for they u.s market.Im not in love with scion and i don't know if they realy are that performant, and they don't have the reputation of the celica(not yet)or supra, maybe in time we'll get use to it.I heard too about lexus wanting to make a new supra or something, but will be under the name of lexus and will not be called a supra, who knows what's really going on in there japeness brain.

It's all about $$$$$$$$$ man.
If they don't make alot of it, they won't sell it.

I believe the only place it wil be sold from now on is Japan. I don't think anywhere else in the world is going to get it anymore.
