okay, i'll just describe how mine works, maybe yours is the same.

on mine, to turn it on, i press the button on the end of that stalk and a light comes on in the the dash...it's ready for me to set the speed

to set the speed, got to what ever you wish to be at and just tap the stalk down (or towards your feet) and let go of your finger....thats it...let go of the accelerater to test it out

now that it's set the stalk functions as a accelerator or decelerator...up or down just like the pedal..only SLOWER.-----NOT MEANT FOR PASSING

if you pass...just use your feet, pass and then when you get to a comfortable speed, let go, the car will go back to the speed you were at.

if you pull the stalk in---as in towards your face as oposed to down to your feet.....cruise cancels.

if you go under 25 miles per hour...like braking with feet, it cancels

if you push the button at the end of the stalk, cruise is off and thus it's canceled
