Brake problems

I have this awfull clicking noise that seems to be coming from my passenger side rear wheel, it only happens at slow speeds, or should I say its only noticable at slow speeds, it coincides (sp) with the rotation of the wheel, it dosnt happen all the time, its worst early in the morning and when the car has had chance to warm up, it dispapears when light pressure is applied to the foot brake but not when I pull the handbrake on. I have checked th back of the studs for clearance..everything is OK, I have new pads on, new discs, had the wheel bearing changed, had the handbrake shoes changed, had the oil in the diff changed. What on this earth could it be? I`m at a total loss.

Clicking noise is usually associated with worn CV axles.
Also, was the wheel bearing lock nut torqued to spec? I've known guys who didn't torque to spec and chewed up a new wheel bearing in no time.

You had the wheel bearing changed AFTER the noise started, and it's still making it?

Wonder if it's something simple like a bent pad-wear indicator...?

Well after much head scratching and tinkering I took her for a blast - (after racing a 1986 911 carrera 2) the clicking was much worse....limped home and stripped off the CV boot, after a generous squirt of WD40 half the universal joint fell out in bits....."poo" I thought...time for a new axel...thanks for the help hopefully thats the end of it.

At least a rebuilt CV axle doesn't cost too much...
