Gen5 5SFE...Build?

Ok so im quite clueless as to "Building" my 5sfe... I have a 1990 Celica GT. I am having trouble finding parts for teh 5th gen celicas. I am also confused as to what i can do to gain more hp from this engine... any help would be appreciated thanks

You can do what I was going to do, a 5SFTE. Just look around in the camry forums I think, and you can find alot of info on doing a 5SFTE. I was going to do a 5SFTE, but then I realized that I could get more power by doing a 3SGTE swap. or try celicatech.net see if they have any 5sfe stuff for sale.

Here is a 5SFTE kit for sale on TN that Aaagogo is selling.

mostly, you will use parts from the 3sgte motor.

3sgte turbo exhaust manifold
i recommend ct-26 (good spooling) and bolt on
custom downpipe
safc (rather pricey)

you can boost safely at around 7 psi without forging your internals..

Ok so my only other question is what about smog and insurance?? I heard the law here in california is you can have any motor as long as its te same year or newer. and also for insurance i read and someones post said my insurance would eb nullified if i got in an accident with those mods? or is that refering to a complete engine swap?
