USA 85 GTS What can I do performance wise?

I have a 1985 Toy Celica gts red lift back two door just seeing if anyone has any information on getting a intake for my car, a proformace intake not the kind that you get from car quest, a intake that has the K&N cone look to it(not sure what its called) . Thanks a mill, mike

Google is your friend. Just search your car, or engine (4age) with the word "performance". You'll find tons of stuff

LC engineering is the place to look for your motor. you have a 22RE which is one of LC engineerings specialties.

To be honest, the 22RE is a stout motor, but not powerful.

I'm not sure if the nose of the 85 Celica is long enough to take a M series motor. But since it is so close to a mk2 Supra, I'd think a 6MGE, 7MGE swap would be easy.

Personally, unless you really are attached to the car. Keep it the way it is, and pickup a Mk Supra, Just like the Celica, only faster!
