Gen5 Suspension help

Hey guys. I have a '91 ST and im looking for struts and springs. I had my mind set on a Eibach's sportline springs but when I contacted KYB they said they don't reccomend them because they lower the car too much causing the struts to possibly bottom out. what kind of springs and struts are you guys running and how do you like them. I would like to get it down to the ground as far as i can SAFLEY!!!!

If you plan on lowering the car to the max you will have to use Koni Sports Adjustable shocks, they are the only ones who will be able to handle the shorter springs and not bust.

I have Eibach Prokit (1.5) with Bilstein shocks and the suspension is soo tight that I', going back to regular springs this week (roads are really shit around here lately). Don't get me wrong, on recently paved roads this combo is great but roads here are getting worse and worse each day, until the govenmente fixes them I'll be riding in OEM springs

As stated, the Sportlines are just a bit too much for the KYB GR-2's.

I would go with the Koni adjustables, and if you do, you will need to modify your rear strut housings to accept the Koni shock.

That's how you modify the strut.

Good luck,
