Gen5 Import 3sfe(5sfe) is it safe to boost?

I just picked up a 93 Celica GT With a blown engine. I was looking at buying a import engine from a local dealer with 40 to 60k on it. How does everyone feel about a low boost 5-7 psi turbo kit on one of these?

Thanks

yea, definatly go ahead and upgrade the internals...9/10 youll be doing it anyways after you turbo it. only a few have had reliable turbo'd 3SFE's on stock internals.

I have a turbo 5SFE. Aslong as you you do right (proper setup). You can run 7-10psi safe on stock internals.
