I have a 99 Solara V6 and am having problems because my traction control is always engaged. When I floor the car, the RPM's go up, but theres no power to the wheels. Anyways, I was told by many people to reset the ECU. I did by disconnecting the battery (both pos. and neg.) all night, to no avail. I heard that to properly reset the ECU you have to do it right on the ECU itself which is under the centre console.
Anyone know how to reset the ECU?? Can I manually reset if I get to it, or is a computer required (from dealer)???
