I've did some metric calculation between the size of the UR-series V8 (IS-F) and GR-series V6 (RX). The V6 in the RX is mounted transverse. The V8 will not fit mounted transverse or otherwise. OK, it will fit, but then there is no room on the side for the gearbox. The only option I could think of is supercharging the current 3.5 V6 or the RX-F is going to be released on the next gen RX.
