Yeah, the Camry has projectors. But inside the projectors there is a small metal flap which reflects a SMALL amount of light upwards at a 45-degree angle. That's meant to light up signs above. With low-intensity light (halogens), that works well.
If you put HIDs in there (high-intensity light), then the light reflected by that flap is no longer SMALL, and it basically almost looks like high beams. Other drivers are blinded by this. So when you install HID on this car, you gotta fold that flap down flat, so that light is NO LONGER reflected at a 45-degree upwards.

is it a simple bend and will it bend back if you sell the car.
and do you have to take the lights apart to do this. cause i can't do this,
i want hids bad but that sound like work
