Even the XRS?
A friend of mine has a 1zz corrola with headers, intake and exaust....It still feels just as slow as stock, just a bit louder. It pulls a very tiny bit harder up hills and at low rpms, but there is nothing else noticable except for the sound. The 1zz comes optimized from the factory for what you can do with it, spending $1000 or so on perfomance parts will just net you a more expensive louder version of the same slow car. Even supercharged you are looking at low 16, high 15 second quarter mile times.

If you are looking for a racey engine sound, get a short ram, that way you will be able to get at the filter for cleaning easier. You won't gain much with a cold air intake.
