USA 1986 Toyota Van fuel or running issue

HI everyone. We are new to the forum. We have an 86 van with low miles in nice shape. It fired it's alternator with a short out. Sat for a couple of years and then because of gas going crazy we decided to try and get it back up and running and it lights but will not stay lit. We replaced the alternator and repaired the wires. No shorts..... Startes ok but we have a problem with it staying running. Gets fuel but seems to shut off. Does anyone know where the in-line fuel relay is?? Like a fuse that is impossible to find? Thanks...Chris

did you at least drained the gas tank and put some "fresh gas"? I would say to let it run for a while and drive it around the block in order to get all systems to full operation temperature

Did all that. Been driving round for about two months. It seems to activate the problem when at sustained hwy speeds over 45. It is like a time chain jump or something but not. I even turned off the OD which I thought would help. Not really. Chris

Sorry....It stays lit. Runs rough and we changed out and did a tune up. Still no fix. Almost seems like something related to between the engine and the tranny. Like a stuck injector but not. Chris
