cold start igniter timing switch???

OK,
anyone got an idea where to get one of these switches,

cold start igniter timing switch.

my mechanic friend says it looks like a water temp sender,

local parts stors don't list this part at all, the manual names this part as such,

.. dealer only???? hope not,

any suggestions??? thanks , Kevin
