Even the very first ('89) turbo MR2's can do 12's on the standard turbo. This places MR2 GT's in a different league.
Weigh up all your options, what do you actually want from the car?
Levins are well built, reliable, economical, fun little cars, and the blacktop really is a great engine.
But their strength does not lie in straight line speed.
The 6speed LSD box is not the strongest box, and any sort of competition use will number it's days. (they strip the crown wheel, don't know why.)
