Hello, I am concerned with the transmission flare issue as well. 2007 V6 LE here, purchased back in April 2006.

However, I have not experienced any type of transmission "flare" at all. Overnight cold start, after 2-3 hours of driving, none at all as seen from the video above. So my concerns and questions are:

- Is the trans flare issue affecting all 07 V6 Camry's?
- Are there other owners who have the 07 V6 Camry's who never experience the flare issue?
- If no issue is present, is it still recommended to perform the latest TSB (TSB TC007-07) in this thread?

- Small but unfortunate % of 6Spd Tranny cars Camry/ES350

- Never experienced it, so far at almost 16K and counting..... When my tranny is cold, under light and moderate acceleration it will just hold the gear a little longer which is what I expected it to do.

- As they say.. if it aint broke don't fix it. Computer updates for an issue thats not present is only asking for trouble. Obviously mechanically the trannys that are working are fine with the current programming. They've made changes in the code to compensate for this flare issue, thus I wouldn't want those changes with a perfectly working tranny.
