Aux2car Will Work On 2004 Matrix Factory Hu!, Can anybody confirm this?

Hi everybody,

This is the question that bothering me? I want to add a capability to listen my mp3 player on my factory HU. I read some treats here regarding AUX input. I have a 2004 Matrix with single CD - Delphi Delco HU. On a back on the unit there is a 12-pin connector for additional (CD-changer or perhaps for AUX device). I saw in a post on matrixowners forum that if I have Delco I'm out of luck. I take out the unit to see what I actually have and there is a Delco.
After that I try to contact the pie.net to see what they can offer my in this case. I sent them pictures of my unit and the response was: "unfortunately, we don't offer a part for your application.

Thank you
Victor C "

After that I e-mail to tech support of AAMP of America - regarding AUX2CAR adapter. Their response was:" It will work however if you have a CD changer you will lose use of it since it occupies that port. It actually has nothing to do with the aux port.

AAMP of America
Technical Support Ext.265"

I also e-mail to USA Spec, and PAC with the same question but no response from them.

I'm little confused and I can't find any conformation that AUX2CAR will work on 2004 Matrix with Delco unit.

Does anybody try this or at least know that this will work on Delco factory audio?

Thanks in advance

I will attach pictures of my car audio

I have PAC's solution and it works just fine. you'll need both adapter cables. I have 2005 matrix XRS with the 6 cd in dash. all you do is hit the DISC button twice and you get the aux input. i can even control my ipod from the car stereo controls.
