Compared to all the other choices you have out there in the market, no. It's a tall wagon w/ 4 doors. 5, if you count the hatch. Weighs almost 3000lbs.

well anything can be tuned saw a Geo Metro pimpin 18" rims and reinforced 1.3l turboed motor....... depends on how much money you wanna put in it..... Saw a Matrix XRS superchargered on a road course Beat a Lancer Evo...... again money if you have it can tune about any car.
Is it a good Drag car not really (fastest matrix Ive ever seen is a supercharged matrix XRS do about low 14's) but When you go Auto X and Course driving yeah its a fun car to tune....

It's all a matter of opinion. Is it something you wanna do to your car or would u wait and trade it in and get a already sport tuned car? I like to tune mine cause it give me something to do and it's my only car at the moment, well i have a '87 camry that i'm working on for maybe a daily but that's it. Compared to other vehicles in it's class you can definitely make it look better than the rest and perform it as well.
