SlammedNiss's Matrix (& other baby as well)

Geesh, how many more Matrix boards am I goin to find? Anyways, here are the pics of my XRS and the Nissan. Remember, all comments are welcome, but leave the extreme flaming at the door.

As one can tell, it's a Lunar Mist XRS 6spd with Injen CAI and engine dress-up kit. It also sports a TRD muffler, Eibach Sportline springs, chrome 19" ROH Fury wheels w/ 225/35-19 Toyo Proxes rubber, and replaced all headlights/foglights with purple tinted Zenon bulbs for that cheap, yet subtle HID look.

More pics/info can be found here --> http://www.streetsourcemag.com/Profi...ProfileID=7668

Now, the truck from where I get my name...

Mods to the truck as follows.. 4 wheel air bags suspension w/ 3/8 lines and electric valves. Truck is body-dropped 2.25" to lay pinch molding on the ground where it belongs. Partial tweed interior, 90% shaved, etc.. Too much to list. Still needs some body-work, and paint. All that will come in time.

More pics/info on the truck can be found here --> http://www.streetsourcemag.com/Profi...p;ProfileID=94

Again, I welcome all questions and comments. Criticism is also welcome. But, don't respond if all yer gonna say is..."that's f-ing stupid" or "what a waste of time and money."

That site has been experiencing problems the last few days. They were working 15 minutes ago when I first posted them.

Are you planning to dyno your Matrix? Did you notice any decrease in power with the CAI and muffler?

In reply to Silver.. no, I don't plan on dyno'ing my Matrix. The CAI was mostly installed for cosmetics, and the TRD muffler for the sound. I'm not into the whole "racer" scene. I mostly prefer the car's appearance to its performance capabilities.

To answer project trueno's question, I merely raise it up off the ground if I wanted to clear speed bumps. But why would you want to do that? The scraping sound will turn more heads than anything you've ever heard before.

jay bee, yes, this car is what I would call peppy. My last car was a dodge neon, so it's a big step in the right direction. I couldn't tell you whether or not it's just as fast as a celica gt-s though. My thinking would be no, because of the weight difference.

Punk, glad I could help ya out with the wallpaper. If ya want a larger resolution, I believe I still have it stored on my camera in 1024x768.
