Question '06 charger/intake

I just bought a 2006 matrix about 1 month ago with hopes of building my first "tuner car". I was hoping to put a cold air intake and a supercharger on to start. Suprisingly enough, I have checked all the sites and no one is carrying these parts for my '06. This is becoming a real let down. Does anyone have any info on these parts or know when and if they will be available????Thanks

give it a little bit of time and the aftermarket will catch up wi the car manufacturers. Or better yet pioneer the movment and make your own intake,

Thanks for responding kevin! Did you notice a difference with the cold air intake, when you installed it on your "05?

Go here to see how they supercharged a 2005 corolla, they had to make some modifications but were able to make it work.

I added a TRD cold air intake to my 03 base matrix with a 5speed about a year ago. I did notice better acceleration, but the ticking from the relocated purge solinoid is driving me nuts. has anyone else noticed this, and is there a remedy.

Yup! I've installed an oem CAI on a '06 Trix with a few mods. What i've noticed was that if you mount the regulator to the engine instead of the body, you whon't hear the ticking noise anymore. Thats the only way i got it to work.
