Borla Exhaust questions

i'm planning on buying borla exhaust for my XR..but i just wanted
to be absolutely sure ..ok..so here goes..
Would Borla exhaust make ricey nose that will irritate everyone in
block radius??
How hard is it to install (self or dealer?)??
Where is the cheapest place to purchase one?
What is the approx. hp. gain/improvement performance difference?
these are some of the questions i wanted to ask ..

Its not ricey sounding at all, very quiet for an aftermarket exhaust actually.

One good jack and a jack stand you can do it yourself...two bolts, three rubber holders...

hp gain...overall probalby only like 3-5, peak is probably 10, but peak doesnt really mean much....

My buddy has a borla on his 95 Z28, its pretty awesome sounding! and it's got the cool feature to make his dual exhaust into a single tip for more HP, and it also comes with resonators that you can add on or take off for more or less noise... dunno if it's the same for the matrix though.
