Aftermarket headers and stock exhaust

Is it fine to run aftermarket headers, such as DC Sports with a stock exhaust?

Don't expect too much gain out of that set-up due to the restrictions of the exh.. Which model do you have? If you have an Xrs port the oem header, if it's a base or Xr go w/ DC on that. If you go that route you should really consider you exh. upgrade, either a cat. back exh. system from a couple companies or custom make one. I have an '03 Xrs and i ported the oem header and i'm runnng a 2.5" exh. w/ a Magnaflow N1 muffler and soon a Magnaflow hi-flow cat. and i also upgraded the resontator to a silver streak(though it doesn't matter for sound only).
