I had one quick question, can u use GTS parts for the XRS since it has the same engine?

Only some parts like an example: wheels, suspension, exhaust(maybe, have to check on the routing), depending on the years between the 2 cars. Like the 2000 gt-s header, i think and don't quote me on this, will fit the 2003 Xrs. You would have to have a side by side view of both engine to actually see what is in contention of actually fiting.

Is there anything specific you are looking for to cross over? The engine internals for the most part should fit but there are a few valves and other things that are vehicle specific due to weight and other options.

Porting headers involves removing excess material from the head side flange (inlet) and the excess welds at the collector (outlet).

Here's some before and after pics of a ported 2ZZ-GE exhaust manifold.
