Question about stock '06 XR stereo

I was just wondering if the '06 stock head unit has a sub out or something that a subwoofer can be connected to expect the rear speakers. I want to put a sub in the car but its a lease so i dont wanna change the head unit. thanks for your help in advance.

You'll need a line-lever inverter(harness w/ the car make)harness and splice into oem harness and rca cables, amp, subs and cables w/ fuse. I'm thinking of doin' the same thing too. Why go from a 6-disc changer to 1 disc? Try cardomain.com for that type of stuff as well.

wait im confused...why do u need all that converter stuff. from what i understand...usually you have a subwoofer out plug at the back of the head unit. RCA cable plug into that, which run to the amp. i know how to wire up everything else if it has that. I just want to know does it have that sub-out or not in the stock unit??

Does anyone know if the wiring harness installed with the 2006 6-disk option is the same as the one installed with the JBM 7-speaker?
