your mean the lift controller? it's in the works right now, home brewed even by our very own 'trix owner. If you get that then get the camcom and you'll have an absolute set up w/ a n/a vehicle.

that w/ the Camcom it a good as combination. I'm planning on getting one after income tax refund is in. The lift controller is still in progress.

yeah aaaslayer thats the camcon.. that controls VVT-i it doesn't control the VVTL-i.. there's a lot of us waiting on a lift controller... i don't have the balls to put a vtec controller on... everyone swears they would work...

vtec controller wont work.....camco has a vtec controller as part of it for honda.......only uses 1 wire where Toyota uses 4 wires ....Nolat ( the guy making the liftcontroler) and I have had many conversations about this controler...I have given him some of the part so he could build it

It works ....HE just wants to take it to the dyno to correct the fuel reqerments and timing for the early lift with the camcon unit before releasing it for sale ( show How well it works on Paper with a dyno sheet)

Hydra EMS controls lift point. There is a guy with a Corolla XRS on Matrixowners.com (Potter) who used Hydra EMS to change lift to 5700 - 8600 rpm. With intake/exhaust/ported header/lift tunning he dyno'ed at 185 whp. The variable valve timing MUST be tuned along with lift otherwise, the car actually loses a lot of power despite the lower lift.

Monkey wrench racing is making a harness for Corolla/Matrix XRS for the 2ZZ Apexi PFC, which will essentially do the same. I personally will take PFC over Hydra EMS.
