Slight engine shake
I have an 06 XR Matrix. It is a courier vehicle and has at present 45,000 Kilometers on it. (Aprox. 500kms per day) My only major complaint is that when I shift into 2nd gear at lower RPMS there is a slight engine shake. The driveline seems tight and it does not do this in any other gear. Toyota says that they can flash the computer to adjust the timing a little. Has there been some timing issues with the Matrix? When the engine is cold it does not do this. Perhaps it is running a little to lean with the factory settings while warm? Any Comments?
