I would like to install a hood deflector on my trix. I got 3 weeks before I have it delivered. Any websites (canadian) or places in the Montreal region you know?

The dealership sells it for 90$ (CDN), with installation.

$90 w/ installation? Sheesh. Ask to charge you w/o the installation cost.

I saw these at Walmart for $70 CDN here in BC. It's made by Autoventshade, and they can special order it. Not sure if it's exactly same as factory though.

Not same as OEM. It will sit higher off hood and will not come up the hood as far. I have the AVS but I woulda prefered the OEM.

Canadian Tire sells the deflector that is similar as well, under the name PROFILE, sometimes you get to buy them when they are on sale for around 59 CDN

Save yourself the labour costs and do it yourself. It's not hard.

Just got my car last night. I think I'm in my honeymoon phase. Hehe.

I decided to install the OEM and found a little shop that sells them near my house. Thanks for the info!

I just bought an 06 Matrix XR Awd and the dealer was selling Venture shields.
Its a clear plastic that protects your hood and front spoiler from rocks and debris.
It is clear so you can barely see it....
It was a little pricey but if it does the Job its worth it. I paid $395 for it.
