XRS top speed

I did a search on this, but it returned nothing.

Whats the top speed of an XRS?

Today, I hit 115 mph in 4th at nearly redline, and shifted to 5th. There was little perceptible acceleration after that. That change dropped the RPM's out of the agressive cam profile, so the power dropped considerably.

Can this car get into the better cam profile in 5th?, or is the large frontal area too much of a drag?

Has no-one run to the top end?

If the final drive was just a little longer, I would hit top speed in 4th.

I believe that the basic Matrix will cutoff at 117 mph and the XRS will cut out at 135 mph.

Unles you have emanage which will give you the speed limiter cut off.

2005 - 2006 Corolla XRS is governed at 138 mph (have seen a video of it). It is the same for all Matrix models as well. I have been up to 125 mph and did not have the nerve go any further. Probably never will either.
