Canada CAI - AEM vs Injen vs others

Hello,

I am in the market for a cold air system. i am wondering if anybody has tried both AEM and Injen or others - if so, what is the recommendation? Assume money is no issue for ease of discussion!

Thanks in advance!

www.Cosmoracing.com has intakes for 05/06. I have the SRI from them on my 06. They are in American dollars but shipped from Canada so no duty issues. If you buy one from them oil it as they do not come pre oiled.

I don't think there is a difference between brands except for pricing.

I have a TRD CAI, while another member has the AEM SRI. When we headed out to the tracks, we were pretty much even.

Hope this helps.

Canada Cosmo CAI

Does anybody have any cosmo racing CAI installed? How are their parts in general? Quality, durability?? I have never heard of cosmo racing nor know anybody that has any of their performance parts. Any help would be great, thanks.

Also has anybody had any problem taking there car into the dealership with CAI's installed or anyother performance parts? Problems getting warranty work done with these parts installed?

As stated b4 I have the Cosmo SRI and I think it is ok, the quality is decent and fit was good just oil the filter. As far as warranty I took it in for the first oil change and asked them about it and was told

" we would have to prove that the part caused the problem"

so in general for an intake I can see no problems that can cause damage to other components.

I have a 2005 Matrix TRD. Have you heard of matrixowners.com? Drop by lots of useful info there. There's even a Toronto Forum.

There is one guy there mikes_matrix he may be on this forum too he's got a CAI from Cosmo on his 05.

Don't know about the CAI but the SRI sounds nasty. Love it!
