how can i disconnect the enoying beepin sound when u put it in reverse???

Is this an XRS only thing? It must be, I haven't heard any beeping when I engaged reverse gear.

Yeah, reverse is beside 1st in the 6spd so it's a safety precaution.

Must be a North American thing. In Europe most 5speeds and 6speeds have the Reverse next to the 1st gear with NO audible alarm.

Usually there's a mechanical safety that wont allow reverse to engage in any form unless the car is stopped.
