Disable DLR

When I got a new Chevy Pick-up in 98, discovered I was able to disable them "Daytime Running Lights" by just pulling a fuse.

Went out to my Matrix yesterday to see if such a thing was possible with it. But am finding the fuse box for the Matrix to be considerably harder to understand than the on in my Chevy.

What should I look for? Is there another way to handle this in Toyotas?

It is not so straightforward.

This link can be found near the top of the Ultimate Matrix Resource thread which is sticky so it is always found at the top of this forum.

actually, it's pretty straight forward if you just want to disable it. All you have to do out of that how to is just cut the red/white wire in pin 12 and that's it.

Daytime running lights are on there for a reason...it helps make you more visible and maybe that moron who would have pulled out in front of you because 'they didn't see you' would take notice a lot more when he sees lights (oooh, pretty)...
