My XRS has Red dash board lighting which I do not like. It lights up in the morning too Bright red.
How can I change this light to a softer color like light green or soft white color.

There's a guy that will swap out the red LED's for a colour of your choice. It's labour intensive as there a a lot. He does this a s a business. You send him your gauge cluster and he'll send you a loaner while he does the job. Go to:

and search for LED gauge conversion.

As another option to get more colour, you can do this:

First of all, the 05/06 Matrix has white and red lighting. I painted the gauge pods blue.
