Quote:
TRD is pleased to announce a TRD Quickshifter is now available for the 2003 Matrix equipped with manual transmission. Constructed of machined billet aluminum, the TRD Quickshifter shortens shift throws approximately 25%. The shortshifter will work on either 5 or 6 speed Matrix base, XR, and XRS. The new TRD Quickshifter features a clear anodized finish and includes the popular TRD ball-style shift knob..........

installed last night...the throw is much shorter... but it's much stiffer than before... overall it feels great.. but somewhat too much trimming.

oh, but i doubt if the quickshift itself is from TRD... even the shiftknob is from TRD, this ball style knob looks like those old style school bus knob ^^
right now i still have my factory knob on... personally, i think if someone can get the quickshift thing without the TRD shitknob, that's the better way to go for.

as i mentioned, i think it's a bit too much trimming with the installation... and it might dis-function the opening clip of the box which under the shift panel...

i am not sure where is the best place to buy, for mine i bought it from West Covina Toyota Sport. i used to have a 02 Celica GT-S, and they are the sponsor there on the web site. so you could get a better deal if you mention the web site thing to them.
