2004 or 2005 CPO Matrix?

I'm sure you are all tired of seeing my posts lately, lol. I apologize for the multitude. But I am on the debate of either a 2004 or 2005 XR AWD. I know they changed the headlamps, taillamps and a bit of the body, nothing major. What else has changed, I know the tranny/engines are the same and I am assuming the interiors and gauge lighting are the same, but I wanted to find out from people on here who own both. Does the 04' have an outside temperature gauge and what about seats, bolsters, etc. Thanks in advance.

My 04 XR (2WD) has an outside temp gauge. The driver's seat has a manual height adjustment (as well as front/rear slide and back tilt of course). I assume this is the same equipment as the 4WD.

My advice is to skip the AWD entirely and stick with 2wd. The gas mileage is worse, and AWD only helps you a little bit under special conditions. It wont help you as much as ABS in ice or rain. Not worth the extra $ in my opinion.
