Radio Buttons Finish delamination

Well, I'm happy to say I found a used Matrix equipped the way I wanted one in the color I wanted, 2004 Cosmic Blue, 6 speed XR, 37,000 miles. My concern is the material on the radio buttons is coming off. Has anyone else had this problem? I also noticed it coming off of a Chevy Trailblazer and the radios looked very similar. Is there any dealer goodwill that may fix the problem under warranty?

You probably should just buy an aftermarket stereo. I've noticed that the surface, especially the text on the buttons, wears off with use. If it's bothering you that much, then it's a good opportunity to bite the bullet and buy something that you can easily hook your ipod into, or whatever other audio component you want.

Not to mention that a new radio might even sound better. The stock radio is not that great. My opinion but opinions are like a**holes, everybody's got one.

Welcome to the world of Delco radios. Yeah, get that thing out of there. You can spend $100 or $3000 on a new stereo, and everyone will tell you why the one they bought is better than all the rest, so just find one you like with the features you like, the sound you like, and a price you can afford. Buy it, install it (or have it installed), and enjoy. Then take that awful Delco radio into the back yard and shoot it.
