Talking Issues with rear trix slr 2005 bumper

Hello! I just bought a 2005 Matrix SLR. I was wondering if anyone has had an issue with the rear bumper cover sagging down, from the points where it is actually connected? Also how does the bumper skin attach on the rear bumper. Does it just pop back into place? or do I need to replace any clips? The car has not been in an accident. Thank you for your help!

They're all like that. It's the GM part of the Matrix. Go to any dealer and look at all the trixes lined up and you'll see everyone has the large gap between the bumper and rear 1/4 panel. It sucks, but after a while you just learn to live with it.

It's the GM part of the Trix... what kind of explanation is that.... the outside shell of the Trix is 100% Toyota!

Workmanship! Very abnormal for Toyota to produce a vehicle with a gap like that.

Talking bumper gap

Thanks guys, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one with this issue. Has anyone figured out a way to possibly fix this problem? Let me know of any insights or suggestions.
