Hey, I just got my 2004 Matrix XR on tuesday and am wanting to change some stuff around. Anyone have any pictures of some different tail lights? I'm thinking of going with the Altezza black housing or carbon fiber housing but want to see what it looks like before i do. So, if anyone can help, it would be much appreciated. THANKS!

You can always check out matrixowners.com....lost of guys with different tailights there. Or you can always go with overlays solded by bluebat.

thanks for the feedback! i'll be sure to check it out. My hubby put a good layer of wax on my matrix last night! Oh it looks so much better! I swear the owner before us must have NEVER waxed it, it looks wet all the time now. LOVE IT....

Is it possible to tint the chrome in the tails of the 05-06 Matrix? That's what I want to do...

I am unsure if they can be baked apart to do so.

Someone attempted to bake them open before...no success. They don't seem to be put together the same way the headlights are.

I broke a set of taillights trying to get them appart. You could always tint the outside of the lights with VHT Nite Shades or Spray Tint and it'll look really good. I've seen quite a few sets of alteezas that are tinted on the lens and they look great.
For the Matrix, the best lights out there are the TYC's. If you need some photos, let me know. I have tons of them on my computer.

Where do you guys buy parts from? I was thinking about getting some ventshades for the tail lights, but I don't know of any reputable online stores.
