more hp to my xr?

okay...i did change my airbox to TRD CAI, change exhaust to Magnaflow and uses mid octane gas...i see and feel the big difference and i love it! my question is, what can i do to add more horsepower to it beside getting the turbo charger from TRD (cost a lot)? is there any aftermarket that you guy's have use or still using for your matrix that added horsepower to it and quicker accelaration that you guy's would like to share ? money would be an issue . i'm looking to spend at least $300

Well you could have the exhaust manifold and throttle body bored out to gain a little more. Also, get a high flow catalytic converter. Prolly do all that for $300 if you are handy.

I gotta hand it to you...you've got a Porsche in the driveway and you still manage to give love to your Matrix.

Sweet!
An unlikely pair but they're both damn good cars on its own!

Can I just get the high flow catalyctic converter without boring out the exhaust manifold and throttle body?
