Finally Pics of my new ride 05 AWD XR

Just picked it up Tuesday, detailed it to my specs this past week, here they are. I'm sure you have seen a lot of newbies posting stock cars on here but oh well here is another one. Just proud to be an owner.

you traded in your civic for it right? Matrix looks good. Hows the AWD? Is it like a subaru? Manual or auto?

Yup the Civic is gone, haven't had a chance to really test the AWD but I did bring it home through some crazy rain this past weekend in upstate NY back to CT. I really don't see what the issue with the tires are, I think they handle great, even in wet weather, very predictable and hold well, quiet, just a good tire. I have had plenty of brands:

Bridgestone Potenza RE950

Toyo Proxes 4

Falken ZX-512

Michelin Energy

Pirelli P-Zero

To name a few, but there was one instance at a light when i hit the gas and the front tires literally slipped for like barely a millisecond and the car kicked into AWD and just went. It was awesome, I barely felt it shift. It is an auto as I think the AWD Matrix only comes that way. But I love this car!

Not to mention there are like NONE around here so it definitely stands out!

First off, can someone tell me if all the Matrix's came with a little tab next to where the hatch release is that says Security and flashes the red light when the car is locked up. I am not sure if that means I have the additional security system or if it is stock that way???

I do plan on tinting down the road, only 35% though, I had it on the Civic and that was silver so I figure with a black car it will look darker naturally. Mods as of yet are very limited, keeping the wheels and most stuff the same hence I bought it fully loaded w/ lip kit, fogs, moonroof, cruise, 6 disc in dash CD, bumper protector (on the lip), 16" alloys, ventshades, floor mats, cargo mat. I swear the guy who leased it new literally checked every box and got the accessories as well. Fine with me I just put in Sylvania Silverstars in the fogs and low beams, lovin it. My buddy wasnt sure of it but once he saw the two prong outlet he flipped and was like, this is the best car ever!!!

The calipers on the front will be painted black shortly, the brakes will be upgraded to Powerslot rotors with a ceramic/metal mix pad. Sport shoes for the back w/ painted black drums.

Anyways here are the other shots I took yesterday:
