Has anyone debadged their Matrix XR? - Toyota Nation Forum : Toyota Car and Truck Forums

I am looking for a couple of the XR emblems for my one off Reg Cab X Runner project. I know there is a wanted forum but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask here. Here is a pic of the truck I need these for. PM me a price if you want to get rid of them. Thanks Guys. The dealer quoted me a price of $25 for one, which I thought was outragous. I would like to get at least 2 or 3.

Why the hell would you put matrix badges on your truck? Why not just go to pep boys and buy a "VTEC" and "Type R" badge like all the other ricers do?

Did you read the post?

I don't want the Matrix emblem I want the XR emblem. Don't worry about why I want them, it's my truck and I will do what I want with it. BTW I don't consider my truck a "ricer". Man I hope everyone in this forum isn't like this.

Why would you want a badge from a car you don't own if you are not a "ricer"?

Did my last post too fast, must elaborate.

First off I think your truck looks awesome. Very clean. I really want a Tacoma for my second vehicle. I just can't figure out why you would put badges from a car you don't have, whether matrix or xr emblem. Don't get defensive, stand up for your position if you aren't ashamed of if. I really am curious.....
