pulleys for the xrs

does any one have the aftermarket pulleys for the xrs??? I have a 2003 xrs and was just wondering if there was any downside to getting them. My one friend has a scion tc and heard that the pulley for his car can mess up his timing and what not....hit me up with some feedback

You're safe w/ the alternator pulley but don't change your crank pulley. There've been some Celica GTS' that have killed their engine swapping out the crank pulley.

AEM's alternator pulley seems to be a popular choice.

Pulleys will not affect your battery or alternator as long as you use the same ratio pulleys. The racing pullets just way less so their mass offers less resistance for your engine. One sub isnt going to do anything even if your alternator was spinning less.
