ghetto ass strut bars...

has any one bought one of those no name strut bars off ebay? i bought one for my last corolla, it worked great but rubbed a lil bit on my hood. If any one has one lemme know if it doesn't rub. thx

i am looking to buy a strut bar of ebay as well. I am looking at a megan R or an off brand one. Does anyone have any suggestion or comments as well? i will set up a link for them please comment.

hey guys just a warning, but don't you want a strut bar that doesn't flex? and those bars aren't totally solid like a good one should be. The cheap strut bars have pivot points where the bar connects to the base plates. A good bar is welded solid there, so you're not gonna get as good as performance. Just a warning before you spend your money. Look at like DC's strut bars and you can see what I mean.

I bought a strut bar similar to the second one you have shown there for my 99 Camry and it works great! I bought it at the beginning of the summer, it barely touches the hood but who cares, wipe it off with a paper towel and its brand new. The handling became 10x better. Either one you buy will work just fine, Corolla's don't push that much power, we're not talking 450hp muscle cars here taking corners at 75mph...
