hi everyone, my sister bought a 2005 matrix and she wanted to have some opinion of th price. This is a toyota certified used vehicle

the car is like brand new.. no paint scrathces, the interior is also excellent..

Considering the cheapest 2007 XR at MSRP is $21465CAD, she probably could've done better but I don't think she got totally screwed. Do you know what they're going for in the Auto Trader for the same yr and mileage?

Hi mistamatrix, thanks for reminding me of trader.ca. It looks like she got a good deal. The 2005 XR with 20-30Kms is ranging from 20-23K$. Most of the matrix that are advertised were the base model and very few XRs. There are less than 20K but those are either not TCUVs, not XRs and has high mileage

We saw a similar 2005 XR advertised by Ontario Mazda with same price 18,888$ but has 59Kkms.

When you say base XR does this mean no power windows/mirrors/locks? Is this the one with the black sideview mirrors?

My sis has the sidemirror color same as the body so I guess she got a higher model.

I was thinking of getting one.. but I am comparing the yaris hatchback and matrix…

Even the base XR has power window/mirrors/locks. It's a pretty good pkg.

It's the simple "base" (non-XR) model that has the power group as an option. And yeah, this base model has black door handles, etc.

I just bought a 2005 with 46 km for 19.990, fully loaded with sunroof, 17" wheel, clean and nice in grey color, rust proof, etc etc.

Your 18, 888, is fair price.

I have been searching for almost a month for a matrix with sunroof and my second choice was a yaris too, cute little car.

Now i am thinking of lowering the matrix, any suggestion to lowering kit?
