2007 Matrix XR CAI Q

I'd like to know if anyone here can tell me if a CAI for an 04 is going to fit an 07. I can't find any manufacturers that actually claim the 07 in their product description
thanks

Canada Cai

Yeah i had the same problem, i have an 05 matrix TRD and from 05 on they changed the throttle from cable to electronic. So far no major performace company has made a cai for 05 and up. The only company that i know of that makes a cai for us is cosmo racing

http://www.cosmoracing.com

But i am unsure of their long term durability. Still hoping that injen or aem will bring out a cai for 05 - 07.

hope this helps

Ya I don't know about cosmo either, I haven't heard about them except from people on this site. What I'm wondering though is why the throttle cable would affect the cai, the throttle cable hooks up to the throttle body itself and I can't see how that would even change things.

Yeah i looked at the cable vs electronic and the main difference regarding to the CAI is there is a vacuum hose attached to the base of the tubing going to the throttle body on the electronic one, where on the cable one it is attached directly to the throttle body.

hopefully aem or injen will modify their current cai for the 03-04 to fit 05 and on.
